Welcome to the launch of blackmarketdata.com! This site is dedicated to
information exchange in regards to the black market. All information is for
entertainment purposes, and NO! YOU CANNOT BUY SELL OR TRADE ANYTHING HERE!
Its all about the data. Also, neither I or the company has anything to do
with any law enforcement agency... or any government agency or its affiliates.
The site is currently in beta please be patient. I'm working on
improving navigation and adding more data. But, this is an interactive site.
So the more everyone gives, the more everyone can get back. Privacy is important for me.
All emails addresses are encrypted. No email addresses will be sold, given away, or disclosed. Unless you
try cracking this site, then the gloves are off and I'll pimp your address out to
every spammer known to man. Then I'll post your data on the wall of shame, and forward it to
the FBI. I have zero tolerance and patience for it. You've been warned!
Navigation is fairly straight forward...
From the left side bar select the market item(s) you want to view from the list box.
Next, select the location you would like to view. Graphs are updated upon each selecting 1. If
there is sufficient data to graph, and 2. Its been more than 15 minutes since the last refresh.
From the title bar enter the symbol of the location and items you would like to view.
I'll be adding a symbol look up soon. Then select the measure (gram, kilo...). Upon selecting
the measure the graph will automatically update. No need to click the "Get" button.
Unless the measure selected is the one you are looking for, then you will need to click the "Get"
button.
Submitting a quote: To submit a quote, navigate to the lowest location
available (e.g. city or town). If a city does NOT exist go to your account and select
the location list box until you reach the State/Region until the text box is available
to add. Type the name of the city/town and then click the "Add" button.
Also select the item for which you want to submit a quote for. Or enter the symbol in the
title bar and click the "Get" button. I current do not have a system in place yet to add items.
So if there is something you'd absolutely like to see here email me via the contact page.
Once the location and item is selected fill in the appropriate data under the "Submit Quote"
title, then click the "Submit" button. There is no quote tracking, as to protect you. I do log an
activity (e.g. x submitted a price, or y submitted a blog). This is to reward members
for participation. The more complex or involved the participation, the greater the reward.
I haven't decided what the rewards will be yet but be sure they'll be cool, budget allowing. hehe
If you feel like being a jackass and submitting bogus quotes, don't. I'll figure it out, and
I'll figure you out, then... see above concerning site cracking.
Members/Guests: Members will have many more benefits than guests.
Currently, members have less intrusive advertisements (I know, boo hoo ads, but bandwidth isn’t free).
As the site grows the gap will be much larger. Multi-item and data item graphs. custom graphs,
profit sharing blogs, consensus, and research.
I hope you will find this site interesting and informative. As membership grows I hope the information
flows with it. As i said before, I'm NOT affiliated with law or any government agency. I'm only fascinated
by the magnitude of the black market. To put it in perspective, I leave you with these quotes from
Dr. Moises Naim
"The trade in illicit goods is one of the most pressing issues of our time..."
Testimony before the Committee on Banking, Housing, and Urban Affairs, April 12, 2007
"Ultimately, it is the fabric of society that is at stake. Global illicit trade is
sinking entire industries while boosting others, ravaging countries and sparking booms, making
and breaking political careers, destabilizing some governments and propping up
others... dirty-money transactions, can no longer be distinguished from the official economy
and government. But comfortable middle-class lives in wealth countries are far more connected to trafficking-
and to its global effects- than most of us care to imagine."
